Netflix this September has a ton of films coming such as End of the Road and sequels to the films like Enola Holmes and Knives Out that are expected this coming fall. I have put together a small list of what to expect in the next few weeks from Netflix.
Love in the Villa
Set to be released on 1st September 2022. It’s one of the many films set to be released this fall by the company that’s celebrating 25 years in the movie industry.
Plot
The film kicks off with Julie(Kat Graham) a school teacher who makes plans to visit Verona, a town in Italy with her Fiancee. julie is later dumped by her fiancee nights before they travel. However, Julie doesn’t cancel the reservation, she proceeds with the plans alone only to get a huge surprise in Italy. Julie arrives at the Villa only to find that it has been double booked and now she has no option other than to share the villa with a very annoying and yet handsome British guy (Tom Hopper). Ivy + Bean
Ivy + Bean film is based on a children’s book written by renowned American writer Anni Borrows. There are a total of 12 books in the Ivy + Bean series as of the year 2021. It’s not quite clear how many films Netflix will release.
Plot
Two young girls both aged 7 with two completely different personalities that are likely never to become friends end up becoming besties. In this first part of Ivy + Bean, we see two young girls take up revenge on a neighbor that seems to be giving them a hard time. They go on a mission to revenge by using wizardly magic and spells. check out the trailer below released by Netflix.
Ivy + Bean: The Ghost That Had To Go
The adventures continue with these two girls as another film releases the same day. Seems like it will be a busy week for Netflix hope servers don’t crash lol.
Plot
The two young girls take adventures to school after they discover that the school bathroom is cursed. Ivy and Bean team up together with their friends to cast a spell that will release the ghost. Ivy + Bean: Doomed to Dance
The film Ivy + bean: Doomed to Dance will be released alongside the other two films on the same day.
Plot
Ivy and Bean decide to take up ballet dancing only to figure out that it isn’t what they were expecting it to be. Ivy and Bean think that there will be sword fighting and kicking and what not only to get a shocker from their teacher. However, Ivy and Bean take up the task to reach the big Dance festival competitions.
End of The Road
End of the Road is a thriller that will be streaming on Netflix on September 9th, 2022. The film is played by Quen Latifa who plays Brenda and Chris Bridges aka Ludacris whose role isn’t named yet. The film is directed by Millicent Shelton and written by David Loughery. Queen Latifa is one of the 9 producers of this film who comes in with her own production company named “Flavor Unit Entertainment“.
Plot
Brend who has recently lost her job takes decides to take off with her family to start a new life. An overnight stop in a motel ends up turning their life around as they become witnesses of murder. Things get worse after they see a bag with loads of cash in the scene and leave with it. The killer gets word they are the ones who took his money. They now have to survive the hunt, moreover in the New Mexico desert as she has to do whatever it takes to keep her family safe. check out the trailer below released by Netflix.
