Just days before the launch of the iPhone 14, MacRumors released the biggest leak yet of the phone. Leaks on the rumored always on display, lock screen notifications, the notch being gone, iOS 16 updates, and software bugs ahead of the release. Sit back and let me break it down for you.
is the iPhone 14ย Notch Gone?
According to the leak released, itโs safe to say the notch is probably gone now. The images released show that the iPhone 14 will have a single cut-out like that of a pill – Unlike leaks released before that showed it split in two. Moreover, the top part of the iPhone has some huge changes to it too according to the images leaked. The cellular indicator has moved to the left and the battery indicator width increased on the lock screen.

Always-on-Display
The always-on display will interact with the notifications and the wallpaper colors to bring that in-depth feel according to the leaker. Users will be able to enable the widgets on the always-on display but will fade in and out unnoticeably to avoid OLED burn-in. According to the leaker for always on display, all content must be the same in terms of the wallpaper, color choices fonts, and widgets. However, users will be able to fully customize the always-on feature though.

Notifications
The leak cites that notifications will be visible on the always-on display but just for a mere 10 seconds rolling up from the bottom. Though users will also be able to add a notification counter on the always-on display. There will be options to customize how the notifications are displayed on the lock screen in either a stacked, count, or list mode.

iOs 16 Updates and Bugs
According to leaks released, iOS 16 will have an update soon after the iPhone 14 Pro is launched. We expect to see iOS 16.0.1 or iOS 16.1 to fix some of the bugs reported on the always-on display. the leaker also mentioned that apple is currently pushing the software engineers so hard with reports indicating that there are still so many bugs ahead of the launch this Wednesday, September 7th.
